American PGA Tour

Tiger Woods is now the 3rd ranked player in the World.  Martin Kaymer won this weekend and moved over Woods to number 2 in the World.  Is this a sign of what is happening to golf in America?  We used to dominate but now only 4 of the top 10 players in the world are American.

2011 - A New Year

This week marks the return of the "official" PGA Tour season and the middle of the winter for us here in Montgomery County, MD. 2010 was a tough year for golf in MD beginning with back to back blizzards that closed our courses for most of January, February, and March, to the record setting number of 90+ degree days of heat in the summer, and an economy that continued to lag. So here is to the New Year and looking forward to a great year of golf!
